Raised by his father to follow in his footsteps to become a Paladin, Dakkon spent much of his youth being instilled in the values of the Order his father belonged to. Dakkon was finishing preparations to take his vows when he learned that his father had been killed in a duel. Shortly after his death, to the surprise of no one, it becomes common knowledge that the letters to the other nobles mistress were in fact forgeries and a ruse to harm the family name. No consequence befalls the man who instigated the murder of his father, so great is his leverage with the king. The Grandmaster of the order even gives Dakkon a direct command to let the death of his father go. Undeterred and believing even the Order is under his thumb Dakkon swears vengeance and begins a quest for power and prestige of his own to destroy the man and his house responsible for ruining his. Dakkon finds the beginning of his path to power through a pact formed with a fiend and continues to gather personal power and developing plans to bring misery and ruin before an excruciating end. Dakkon is always on alert to slights on his father’s memory, often misconstruing innocuous references as jeers and slights referencing the sham evidence used to lure his father into a duel, alternating between red hot outbursts demanding apology or satisfaction to quiet plans of petty vengeance.
